Spring is such a beautiful season already, but pregnancy during Spring is even better! With flowers starting to bloom and the weather just right (most of the time...Texas gets confused sometimes) everything is just so great! I was already excited to take Michelle's maternity photos, but when she mentioned that she wanted to do them in bluebonnets, my excitement only grew! We waited and searched for the perfect spot as blooms were just starting to appear, and finally I found it. I knew we'd found THE SPOT for her photos!!

Of course we know that Texas weather has a mind of its own and apparently didn't get the memo that we were doing photos, so we woke up to a brisk Saturday morning...after having perfect weather just one day before. We decided to continue, and Michelle was such a trooper! You'd never know that it was absolutely freezing (to the point that I couldn't feel my fingers or lips by the time our session was finished) because Michelle looked just stunning. Despite the insane wind making it even colder, we were able to capture some beautiful portraits for Michelle just days before she delivered her sweet little boy.

Michelle, thank you so much for trusting me with your portraits. It was an honor to serve you, and I'm so glad we got them in before your sweet boy made his appearance! You were amazing to work with through the cold. I'm so excited to do his newborn photos soon! In the meantime, here are some photos for you to enjoy while you hold that little one of yours. You were such a glowing mommy-to-be and even more so now that he's here!
